Lauren Shuler, LMSW

Lauren was born and raised in and around Nashville, Tennessee. With a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a Graduate Certificate in Trauma Treatment, Lauren approaches challenges with curiosity and delights in helping clients break free from shame, moving forward in healthy and whole ways. Lauren has worked with adolescents in various school and legal settings, as well as with adults recovering from substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. 

A naturally inquisitive person, Lauren believes that knowledge is power and works from an anti-oppressive and systems perspective, which means she acknowledges and helps clients heal from the impact of the oppressive systems in which we live. Lauren is committed to healing justice work in both her personal and professional life.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys reading and watching movies.
