After a career in management consulting and time off to start her family, Wendy received her MSW from the University of Tennessee.

Wendy believes that individuals ultimately know what is best for themselves but often need support and encouragement to explore what they need and want. She seeks to empower clients to look at patterns that keep them from achieving their desires and help them consider choices and behaviors that can support their aims. Her style is non-judgmental and she strives to create a warm and safe space where clients feel at ease to process their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

In her last role, Wendy worked at a psychiatric hospital working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, psychosis, and mood disorders. She is experienced in providing therapy and psychoeducation for a variety of issues. Wendy’s approach is structured and evidence-based with an emphasis on client goals and monitoring progress. She utilizes concepts from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Self-Compassion.
