Samantha is a trauma informed clinical therapist. She graduated from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she received a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work.
Samantha has experience working in a residential setting for adolescents, and has spent the majority of her career providing care to individuals who have experienced trauma, abuse, and neglect. She works with a variety of mental health issues, addressing depression, bipolar, anxiety and other co-occurring disorders. Samantha can offer individual, group, and family therapy utilizing motivational interviewing, active listening, and evidenced-based therapies such as CBT and TF-CBT.
Samantha enjoys empowering others and helping them reach their personal goals despite various psychosocial stressors and self-destructive behaviors. She appreciates the opportunity to get to know her clients and help them reach their best quality of life through compassion, honesty, and mindfulness.
In her free time, Samantha enjoys taking her dog, Iris, on hikes, baking, exploring, and lifting weights. Samantha also believes in the power of aromatherapy and the healing that can come from a good self care routine.
