Rachel (she/her) is a master's-level clinician with a passion for therapy, specializing in treating teens, adults, and couples. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Norwich University in Northfield, VT, and her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in Richmond, VA.
Rachel has experience working in various therapeutic settings, including adult outpatient and adolescent inpatient mental health facilities. Rachel is a certified SYMBIS Assessment Facilitator and is particularly passionate about couples therapy. She is formally trained in the Gottman Method and is dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate relationship and attachment wounds. She believes that addressing these issues is essential for fostering healthy, lasting connections.
Her therapeutic approach also includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Outside sessions, Rachel enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and cats.
