Colleen graduated with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Colleen has provided individual and group therapy services in community mental health programs, non-profit agencies, schools, crisis services, residential programs, and private practice since 2004. Colleen has experience with all ages and backgrounds, including experience with military populations. All are welcome and all are equally valued.
Colleen utilizes a person-centered and strength-based approach to therapy with each person to identify elements of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), SFBT (Solution Focused Brief Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Mindfulness that best meet your needs and to increase compassion toward self, as well as to increase skills that help manage stress.
In her free time, Colleen enjoys spending time with her family and dog. She enjoys exploring new places, cooking, reading, running, and gardening.
