Cayla believes that every person can benefit from therapy to address issues in their life, no matter how big or small. She helps clients explore the roots of their problems to facilitate understanding which can help forge the path to change. Cayla offers practical tools and strategies to address the challenges that brought you to therapy while also working to heal the stuff that runs deep. Cayla approaches each client with warmth and nonjudgement and looks forward to working together to create the change you want.

Cayla is particularly passionate about working with anxiety, OCD, pregnancy and postpartum, and people with disabilities. Cayla is a big believer of treating people not diagnoses, and tailors each therapy session to fit the needs of the individual. Cayla doesn’t believe in a one size fits all approach and uses a mix of different modalities depending on the individual, the topic of that day’s session, and what lands well with the client. These modalities may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and exposure and response prevention (ERP). Most importantly, Cayla genuinely loves her work as a therapist. Cayla is a naturally curious person who not only enjoys learning about her clients, but is also constantly expanding her knowledge and skills as a therapist.

In her free time, Cayla enjoys reading, traveling, watching TV (which she firmly believes counts as a hobby), and spending time with her husband and Shih Tzu named Baby.
