Casey Kobosh, LCSW, graduated from Columbia University with a Master of Science in Social Work in 2017 and holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas. She has spent most of her career working with individuals and families impacted by various forms of trauma to navigate challenges related to parenting, relationships, and stress-management. In the short-term, Casey uses mindfulness-based strategies to help clients find immediate relief from anxious feelings and unhelpful thoughts.
In the long-term, Casey specializes in helping clients find compassion for themselves and gain understanding of how their experiences have shaped who they are. Casey is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman Couples Therapy (Level 1), and is a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator. She also integrates elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other collaborative, attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches to meet clients where they are and honor their innate strengths.
In her free time, Casey enjoys baking, walking her dog, and spending time with loved ones.
