Q + A with Emily
What are you most passionate about when it comes to being a therapist?
Whether it is to help a client process trauma, become more confident, or explore their identity, I am most passionate about empowering and creating a space for my clients to achieve their goals.
What clients have you enjoyed working with lately?
I have really enjoyed working with my LGBTQIA+ clients and my religious trauma clients. With so much happening in the state of Tennessee and country that negatively impacts people who identify as LGBTQIA+, holding space for these clients has been particularly meaningful.
What three words best describe the type of therapist you are?
I am authentic, non judgemental, and motivated.
What "lights you up" outside of work?
Outside of work, I love to travel. I tend to spend more weekends out of town than at home.
What show/movie/song have you enjoyed recently?
I have really enjoyed Maddie Zahm lately.
