NCCC Staff Spotlight - Andi Wyatt, New Client Administrative Assistant
Andi Wyatt has been on the NCCC team this last year as our New Client Administrative Assistant. In her role, Andi walks those reaching out about therapy through each step of becoming a new client. This includes matching them with a therapist who best fits their current needs, scheduling their first appointment, and assisting them with paperwork. Andi also assists our front desk during the week by offering a warm welcome to therapists and clients. In addition to being a new mom, Andi is also in grad school working toward becoming a therapist herself.
In celebration of being with NCCC one year, we asked Andi a few questions to get to know her better.
Q + A with Andi:
What is your favorite part about working in your role?
My co-workers and knowing that I am helping people find a space for them to be themselves, come as they are, and learn more about themselves. That's cool.
If you weren’t in your current role, what would you be doing?
Be a full time mom or be in a creative field of some sort.
What’s something that you’ve always wanted to try or learn?
Pottery! You can never have too many coffee mugs. Also, the piano.
Do you have any creative outlets or interests?
Painting, running, yoga, baking, thrifting, reading. I'm a hardcore "hobby" person. I love picking up new interests and skills when I can find the time.
Q + A with Andi’s Team Lead, Morgan
What are Andi’s strengths when it comes to her work on the scheduling team?
She has so many! The three that stand out to me are her patience, empathy, and problem solving.
In what areas does Andi shine?
Andi does an amazing job supporting our therapists with their new intake clients. Her patience is unmatched, and her ability to learn new systems is nothing less than impressive. Andi approaches every task at work with compassion and a person-centered approach.
What has been your favorite thing about knowing Andi and having her on your team?
Everything! I don't think you can walk away from a conversation with Andi without feeling inspired. She's an artist, a mother, a student pursuing a therapy degree, and has one of the kindest hearts I've ever had the pleasure to know. I feel so thankful that I get to work with her every day.
