Amy Lynn Green, LCSW, ERYT, is the Founder & Executive Director of The Rooted Bridge, Owner & Founder of Nashville Collaborative Counseling Center, and is dedicated to increasing access & affordability to mental health support for parents to be & parents across the Southeast region. She believes that collaboration in care is a vital aspect to providing support to families. Amy received her MSW from the University at Buffalo with a concentration in trauma informed care and human rights, a certificate from the University of Massachusetts in Integrated Care Management, as well as a certificate in Maternal Mental Health. Amy works with women and their families, facilitates healing after trauma, supports parents through loss/infertility, and ensures that parents and children have a team collaborating with them in care during pregnancy and into parenthood.
Amy is trained and specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Perinatal Mood Disorders, Infant Mental Health, Intrapersonal Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing. Amy is also trained as a breath coach, postpartum doula, and 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Amy is an Adjunct at the University of Tennessee Masters in Social Work program, guest speaker at Belmont University teaching on School Based Counseling, and has given multiple presentations on Maternal Mental Healthcare. She received her Bachelor’s in Sociology and Spanish from Tennessee Technological University. Amy is the mother to three angel babies and one earthside daughter, Kinley.
